Russell is the Director of Clever Choice Conveyancing and has over 30 years experience in the legal industry.  He established Clever Choice Conveyancing in 2021 as a conveyancing firm that can provide approachable and dedicated legal expertise at an affordable price to both buyers and sellers of property.  

Russell is also the Principal/Director of R. Mitchell Lawyers and has previously worked as a Partner, Director and Principal at firms including Marshalls+Dent+Wilmoth,  Wilmoth Field Warne Lawyers and Eggleston Mitchell Lawyers.  Additionally, Russell has over 10 years experience as a Barrister at the Victorian Bar.

Maggie is currently completing a double degree at Monash University, combining a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) with a Bachelor of Arts. While her academic journey spans multiple disciplines, Maggie has developed a particular interest in property and commercial law, with a strong focus on conveyancing.

Maggie is passionate about delivering practical, client-focused legal services. She has gained valuable hands-on experience in residential and commercial conveyancing, assisting with contract reviews, preparing vendor statements, liaising with clients and stakeholders, and coordinating property settlements. Her role also involves drafting Wills, Powers of Attorney, and Probate applications—further strengthening her understanding of legal processes that often complement property transactions.

Known for her strong attention to detail, Maggie takes pride in helping clients navigate the complexities of buying and selling property. She is eager to continue developing her skills in legal drafting, research, and client communication to ensure smooth and efficient outcomes for every matter.

Outside of work, Maggie enjoys staying active and spending time with friends and family. She is a keen tennis and cricket enthusiast, both as a player and spectator.

Gina is currently in her fourth year of a double degree at Monash University, studying a Bachelor of Laws and Arts. This academic path allows her to build a strong legal foundation while also broadening her perspective through interdisciplinary study.

At Clever Choice Conveyancing, Gina plays an active role in supporting the legal team with a wide range of conveyancing matters. She assists in preparing vendor statements, reviewing Contracts of Sale, liaising with clients and stakeholders, and ensuring that all documentation and due diligence processes are handled efficiently and accurately. Gina is committed to making the property transfer process as smooth and stress-free as possible for clients.

In addition to conveyancing, Gina has also gained valuable experience assisting in litigation and commercial matters, deepening her interest in business-related legal issues and dispute resolution. She enjoys applying her legal research and drafting skills to support practical, client-focused solutions.

Gina thrives on the challenge of understanding each client’s unique circumstances and is passionate about helping them navigate the legal aspects of buying, selling, or transferring property.

Outside of her academic and professional life, Gina enjoys spending time with friends and family and attending Pilates classes to stay active and balanced.
